Michael Pachter has issued his usual NPD review and for the month of August he's estimating that the Wii sold 550,000 units which is more than double the PS3's expected total of 225,000. Elsewhere, the PSP and Xbox 360 are tired at 200k each and the PS2 at 150k. As for the DS, it's expected to meet Wii sales for the month.
