The FCC has released testing information on its site for Sony's PSP-3001 redesign. The diagrams show no changes to the shape or size of the PSP which has led to rumors that the changes will be "internal and focused on lowering costs and making the thing harder to hack." The rumor seems to be backed by comments SCEA's Jack Tretton made at E3 that stated Sony were working on protecting the PSP from piracy.
