Sony's Jack Tretton has blamed piracy for the reason why there are not many new games for the PSP out there in the market. He also blamed a tendancy for PS2 games to be ported to the PSP and hence people do not want to buy the same game twice. However, another journalist chipped in saying that if piracy really halted games development, then there would be virtually no new DS games.
